Privacy, cookies and browser storage
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. It uses your browser’s local and session storage to provide the features you request and remember your privacy choice. The public website does not set tracking cookies.
| Purpose | Storage and duration | Choice |
|---|---|---|
| Configuration, selected samples and Bespoke options | Session storage; until the browser tab’s session ends. | Necessary to preserve your selections. |
| Saved project recovery on this browser | Local storage, when you save a project or prepare its PDF; until replaced or cleared in your browser. | Used when you request these features. |
| Privacy preference | Local storage: filomaestro-privacy-v1; valid for 180 days. | Remembers acceptance or rejection. |
| Optional usage measurement | Temporary memory on the open page; no visitor or session identifier is stored or transmitted. | Disabled until you accept analytics. |
Optional analytics
If you accept, we count page and catalogue-model views, configurator steps, design selections, saved projects, prepared PDFs and confirmed enquiry submissions. The approximate exit indicator helps us improve the configurator. These are activity counts, not individual visitor profiles.
Filomaestro stores daily aggregate counters on its server for up to 395 days. Analytics do not retain IP addresses, browser identifiers, contact details, project identifiers, free-text fields, search parameters, link fragments or referral URLs. Network addresses are processed transiently to deliver requests and prevent abuse. There is no advertising use or cross-site tracking. Google fonts are loaded as technical resources; the website does not install Google Analytics.
You can accept or reject analytics with equally accessible controls. Rejecting does not affect the website, requests or configurator. You can change your choice using “Privacy preferences” in the footer; withdrawal stops further measurement immediately. Existing aggregate counts cannot be linked to you. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals also disable measurement.
You may also clear local and session storage in your browser. Doing so may remove drafts and the locally remembered saved-project link; a project already saved on the server is separate. Shared-project links show the saved configuration and project notes to anyone holding the link; avoid including personal information in those notes.
